Frontier Airlines launches new service from Reno to Las Vegas with $29 flights


A new airline is bringing a flight between Reno and Las Vegas.

Set to begin in November, Frontier Airlines is bringing a nonstop flight from Reno-Tahoe International Airport to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Frontier is offering an introductory offer for flights as low as $29 if purchased before 8:59 p.m. PDT Wednesday, June 26.

Service between Reno and Las Vegas will be year round but will have limited departure frequencies. Flights will only leave from Reno to Las Vegas on Sundays and Mondays. Flights will only leave from Las Vegas to Reno on Thursdays and Fridays.

The introductory fare offer will feature blackout dates between Nov. 22 and Dec. 2. Fares can be purchased both round trip and one way.

Fares will include transportation fees, surcharges and taxes and are subject to change at anytime, according to a press release from Frontier Airlines. 

The new flight is not Frontier Airline’s first flight out of Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The airline has previously flown between Reno and Denver[1].
